Scheduling Your Spine Procedure

Patients need a referral from their specialist or primary care physician for their diagnostic imaging examination, epidural steroid injection or interventional spine procedure.  Your referring physician will receive copies of the reports generated from these examinations and procedures.  If follow-up is needed from a diagnostic imaging examination, your specialist or primary care physician's office will call you directly.  Epidural steroid injections reduce swelling and offer pain relief for a limited time, Learn More.  If appropriate, the St. Paul Radiology care team staff will call you to make arrangements for a return visit for follow-up pain management injection procedure.  Remember, if your last diagnostic imaging study was not done at St. Paul Radiology we ask that you bring the study on CD with you for your appointment.
