St. Paul Radiology provides patients with a full compliment of breast imaging experts and services from screening mammograms to wire localization biopsies.  Where SPR offers mammography, the imaging is now digitally acquired.  These new imaging systems reinforce and support our commitment to providing continuity of care and ease in access to your exams.  

SPR radiologists also use computers to aid in detection of microcalcifications and subtle changes in the breast. A screening mammogram, involves minimal exposure to radiation, is the best test for early breast cancer detection and includes two images for each breast.  Patients who are asked to return to St. Paul Radiology for further evaluation after their screening mammogram will be directed to SPR-Maplewood location where we offer a full compliment of additional breast imaging services including ultrasound, needle guided biopsy, needle guided aspirations, and breast MRI imaging.
