First MRI image
Dr. Paul Lauterbur published the first MR image - zeugmatography.

1974

St. Paul Radiology installs its first computed tomography (CT) scanner.
The scanner was installed for all St. Paul area hospitals to use in the Doctors Building opposite St. Luke's Hospital in St. Paul, MN. With this purchase, St. Paul Radiology became one of the first private practices in the world to own a CT scanner.
